The Institute of BioEconomy – IBE-CNR is a research institute belonging to the Agro-Food Department of the National Research Council of Italy and employees about 200 people among permanent and temporary researchers, research assistants, technicians and administrative staff. It was born on the 1st of June 2019. Over the years, researchers have developed skills and expertise in different strategic sectors of the bioeconomy and sustainable development in rural and urban environments.
MCE was created in 1982 as a non-profit and independent membership organisation of CIO's, IT managers and heads of departments and policy makers in local governments. It includes mostly cities and other local authorities, but also universities and other public and private organisations supporting local governments. Its mission is to maximise the value realised from the use of information and communication technologies in the administration of public authorities at the local government level.
PRISMA is an interdisciplinary planning and research consultancy founded in 1991 and has since built up a notable record of research, policy consulting, evaluation and education outcomes. PRISMA possesses extensive experience in lifelong learning research and action projects; local development; spatial/environmental planning; and the use of new technologies in learning and capacity building in public administration.
Liceo classico Galileo is a prestigious secondary school in the center of Florence, where humanities are taught mainly along with mathematics, science and art history. more than 600 students currently attend the school and the staff includes about 60 teachers, 6 clerks in the secretariat, 1 computer lab technician and 11 janitors. In this project will be involved 3 teachers of three classes, the secretariat and the computer lab technician.
Municipality of Glyfada is a municipal authority within the prefecture of Athens, Attica. Glyfada is a suburb of Athens, situated in the southern parts of the Athens Metropolitan Area. The area stretches from the foot of the Hymettus mountain to the Saronic Gulf. It is the largest of Athens' southern suburbs, with a population of approx. 90.000 residents. Glyfada is established as the heart of Athens' southern suburbs.
The Israel Smart Cities Institute is an NGO of 20 experts from Israel and Europe that stand out by boasting a complete holistic methodology for addressing all aspects of the urban ecosystem and sustainable development through integration of city planning, innovation, economy, technology, environment and community. The Israeli Smart Cities Institute supports all stakeholders in order to make cities more attractive for their communities and citizens through research, consulting and training.
The 3rd High School of Glyfada, located in the southern suburbs of Athens, has been operating since 1973. It is a public day high school offering general education and falls under the 4th Secondary Education Department of Athens. Currently, it has 289 students aged 12 to 15, with 30 teachers serving.
The school has a rich tradition of engaging with the local community through cultural and environmental pro-grams. Additionally, it actively participates in transnational European projects such as eTwinning and Golden Green Leaf in collaboration with schools in Cyprus and Italy. Special emphasis has been placed on teaching science through art, leading our school to have been participating in the 'Learning Science through Theater' competition since 2016. This initiative is part of the European Programs Open Discovery Space and Inspired Science Education, receiving recognition, including the ΕΠΙ2 award at the Athens Science Festival in the Visual and Performing Arts category. Since 2004, an environmental education group has been active in the school, along with other groups like journalism, theater, and rhetoric.

The city has merged its activities in the last decade and applies a more responsible administrative approach to urban development projects, especially in terms of plans to switch to renewable energy sources in public transport, increase energy efficiency in construction works and energy efficiency indicators new ICT infrastructure.
High School for Electrical Engineering and Computing in Rijeka with its long-standing tradition dating back to 1899. educates young students in the field of STEM professions. 45 school employees are involved in the implementation of high school education for around 540 students. The school is involved in various Erasmus projects (e.g. Erasmus project from Rijeka to Europe) and international projects (long-term cooperation with the technical high school Waldshut - Tiengen from Germany). The courses that our students can choose are: Electronics technician, Computer technician, Electrical technician and Technician for electrical machines with applied computing.
